The Capella St. Crucis Hannover, led by Florian Lohmann, present these German Advent and Christmas tunes. In the Capella St. Crucis Hanover, around 60 music students and experienced choir members sing. Every year both large oratorios and demanding a cappella works from the Renaissance to the modern age, including world premieres in Hanover and in northern Germany, are performed. Awards (ECHO Klassik 2010), first placements in the Lower Saxony Choir Competition (2005, 2009, 2017) as well as a third place in the 10th German Choir Competition 2018 prove the high level of the choir. In scenic productions or in cooperation with the NDR Radiophilharmonie, the choir is looking for new artistic challenges and unusual concert formats. Guest performances have taken the Capella St. Crucis to Europe, Argentina and most recently to Australia.
